If ransomware with extensions like “.vvoa” infects a computer, will formatting the system remove it? What happens to the encrypted files?
Does formatting my whole PC will help me to get rid of ransomware ” .vvoa” or not?

Formatting the system will indeed remove the ransomware, including the “.vvoa” encrypted files. However, formatting the system will also delete all data on the computer, including the encrypted files. Therefore, unless backups are available, formatting the system to remove the ransomware may result in permanent loss of the encrypted files.
