Digital transformation introduces new cybersecurity risks by expanding the attack surface, increasing the complexity of IT systems, and creating vulnerabilities in interconnected devices and networks. To manage these risks effectively, organizations can implement robust cybersecurity measures such as regular security assessments, employee training on cybersecurity best practices, monitoring and analysis of network traffic for anomalies, encryption of sensitive data, implementation of strong access controls and authentication mechanisms, keeping software and systems up to date with security patches, and having an incident response plan in place to quickly respond to and mitigate cyber threats.
