What should you do if ransomware attackers have stolen your data—should you pay the ransom or pursue other solutions?
It is generally not recommended to pay the ransom if ransomware attackers have stolen your data. There is no guarantee that you will get your data back even if you pay, and it could encourage further criminal behavior.
