Securing computers from ransomware in networked or business environments involves a combination of strategies. Here are some steps that can be taken:

      1. Regular Backup: Ensure that all important data is regularly backed up to a separate and secure location. This will help in case ransomware encrypts files, as you can restore data from backups.

      2. Update Software: Keep all software, including operating systems, antivirus programs, and applications, up to date with the latest security patches. Ransomware often exploits vulnerabilities in outdated software.

      3. Use Antivirus/Anti-Malware: Install reputable antivirus and anti-malware software on all computers. Regularly update and run scans to detect and remove any potential threats.

      4. Network Segmentation: Segmenting networks can help contain ransomware attacks and prevent them from spreading across the entire network.

      5. User Training: Educate employees about the risks of ransomware and how to recognize phishing emails or suspicious links. Regular training can help prevent ransomware attacks from being successful.

      6. Access Control: Implement the principle of least privilege, where users only have access to the resources they need to perform their tasks. This can limit the spread of ransomware in case a system is compromised.

      7. Email Filtering: Use email filtering tools to block suspicious attachments and links that may contain ransomware.

      8. Disable Macros: Disable macros in office documents as they can be used to deliver ransomware.

      9. **Remote
